Once a month Folk gives members the opportunity to kick it in a dope and safe space. The Sphere is an ode to the Zora Neale Hurstons, Assata Shakur’s, Eartha Kitt’s and Lena Horne’s of our generation. We're all for highlighting the extraordinary in the ordinary, girl.
Each month we’ll curate a different experience for you -- our clubhouse is like a brown girls-girls night, on steroids. Giving yall the space to breathe, laugh, connect and engage with a reflection of the many facets of black and brown womanhood.
This month we'll feature a live art installation by artist Briana Hill, accompanied by the vibes of DJ Zephyr Ann. Leave the beaus at home sis, they'll be allowed to come play after 7pm (their tickets available at the door). This gives us enough time to let the feels flow all afternoon via a line up of poets, stations of self-care, discussion, vendors, games, drinks, sweet treats and sisterhood.
Your registration fee covers entry, sponsor treats (first 30 guests), and all the goodies listed above (except the drinks, sorry that henny on the rocks isn't included girl). Once you're in, you can stay as long as you'd like --word on the block is Kinfolk turns up after 9 ;) But most importantly, your entry gives you exclusive access to a reflection of the rawest parts of your identity, there's nothing more valuable than that.
+please note, event is 21+
